Wild Paths. Rural Roads. One Savior.

“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord…’” — Isaiah 40:3

Waypost Church is a rural church plant, born from the conviction that God is still calling people from wild paths to Himself — not just in cities, but down rural roads. We believe in preparing the way for small towns to encounter the One Savior.

Mission and vision

Love God, love people

We are sent to reach rural communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a group of people that have experienced the grace and mercy of the Heavenly Father. We seek those that are broken, hurting, or looking for a fresh relationship with Jesus and others. We are honored to raise up and send leaders from the wild paths, broken traditions, and bad mistakes many of us experience; and together we prepare the way for others to find the One Savior that changed us all.

A Waypost

A sign or other marker that indicates the way along a road or trail. Something that guides or marks the way along a figurative journey; a temporary stopping point on that journey.

LEAD PASTORS

ZACHARY AND ALANA HINDMAN

They currently resides in Missouri with their three wonderful children (Isabella, Sophia, and Max). They have been in active ministry for more than 20 years and enjoy hunting, canoeing, and small towns. Over the years, they have ministered in leadership classes, small groups, children’s ministry, men and women ministry, jail ministry, organizational leadership, retreats, conferences, and were Lead Pastors for 17 years of three fantastic church bodies (Des Arc, MO; Perryville, MO; Stockton, MO) and most recently Campus Pastors at The Hill in Eldorado Springs, MO for the last three years.

PASTOR ZAC: Throughout life, the grace and mercy of the Heavenly Father has brought him through extraordinary circumstances that instilled valuable knowledge and experience for God’s calling to ministry. He accepted Christ as Savior at a young age and knew he was called to preach the Gospel. Through a ‘rollercoaster’ of failures, dumb mistakes, trials and tribulations, our Lord guided him through repentance and forgiveness with grace and mercy. He has become a vessel for the Lord to be used to further God’s Kingdom, break denominational barriers, and bring others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

PSALMS 142:3a “When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, You knew my path.”

PASTOR ALANA: Over the past 20 years, she has enjoyed the privilege of walking with people through every season they face. She loves faith-building conversations with her tribe and the joys and challenges of mom life. Her life advice is: Practice the Pause, something she continually works on. She feels this simple habit helps everyone stay grounded in grace. If you ask others, they’d probably say she is joyful, fun, and a total jokester.

NUMBERS 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”
